Book Launch – The Three Ages of International Commercial Arbitration

Gaillard Banifatemi Shelbaya Disputes and Sciences Po Arbitration Society will host a virtual launch for Mikaël Schinazi’s book, The Three Ages of International Commercial Arbitration (Cambridge University Press, 2021) on Tuesday 1 March 2022 from 6–7pm CET (Paris) / 12–1pm ET (NY)

Relying on a wide range of previously unpublished sources, this monograph – based on Mikaël Schinazi’s PhD dissertation completed under the supervision of the late Professor Emmanuel Gaillard – sets out a new narrative of the history and evolution of international commercial arbitration from the late 18th century to the present (see here for more information about the book).

The event will be moderated by Dr. Yas Banifatemi. A panel composed of Professor George Bermann (Columbia Law School), Mr. Alexander Fessas (ICC International Court of Arbitration) and Professor Pierre Tercier (Peter & Kim) will discuss themes explored in the book along with Dr. Schinazi.
