On 14 October 2021, Gaillard Banifatemi Shelbaya Disputes honored Professor Emmanuel Gaillard at an evening of celebration at the Petit Palais in Paris.

The cocktail reception brought together Professor Gaillard’s friends and colleagues from around the world to celebrate his life and work. The event also marked the launch of The Emmanuel Gaillard Lecture, a yearly event organized by Gaillard Banifatemi Shelbaya Disputes. During the evening, which gathered close to 700 guests, a memorial speech was given by Emmanuel Gaillard’s former student, Michael Beechert (click here to read the full text).
