On Thursday 26 March 2026, as part of the Paris Arbitration Week, Gaillard Banifatemi Shelbaya Disputes will host a sports arbitration conference organized by Women In Sports Law (WISLaw), an association dedicated to promoting greater diversity in the field of sports law.

The speakers will share their insights on the legitimacy of specialized dispute resolution mechanisms in international sport.

The panel will be moderated by Nicole De Giusti (Member Associations Project Manager at FIFA), and will feature Livia Silva Kägi (arbitrator in football, e-sports and cycling, and deputy chairwoman of the Dispute Resolution Chamber of the FIFA Football Tribunal), Estelle Ivanova, Ph.D. (French-qualified lawyer and mediator specialising in international arbitration, EU law and sports law) and our Of Counsel Pierre Viguier.

The conference will be followed by a networking reception.
