Kristóf Pap is part of the team advising and/or representing:

• The Republic of Georgia, in annulment proceedings initiated by Georgia following the award rendered in ICSID Case No. ARB/20/5. The arbitration was brought by Telcell Wireless LLC and International Telcell Cellular, LLC before ICSID under the Georgia-U.S. bilateral investment treaty (ICSID Case No. ARB/20/5). The dispute arose from the alleged mistreatment of Magticom, Georgia’s leading telecommunication company, including the investigation, arrest and detention of its founder and majority shareholder, the son-in-law of former Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze, by the government of President Mikheil Saakashvili in the aftermath of the 2003 Rose Revolution.
• An international joint venture in a SIAC arbitration initiated against an Asian public entity arising out of a contract to design, build and operate a wastewater treatment plant in an Asian State. The law of the State applies. We are also advising and representing our client in proceedings brought before a Dispute Adjudication Board (DAB) in relation to the same dispute.
