Gloria is or was part of the team advising and/or representing:

• An industrial project development company, owner, and a State-owned company, Respondents in an ICC arbitration in Paris initiated by a European contractor in relation to complex engineering issues in relation to the development of a port. Approximately USD 320 million is at stake. The law of our clients’ State applies. We also represented the owner in an ICC mediation related to the same project.
• An international joint venture in an ICC arbitration in Paris against an oil field services provider. The dispute arises from an EPC contract for the construction of upstream facilities in Africa. Issues include liability for delay, additional works and disruption. Over USD 850 million is at stake.
• An industrial project development company, owner, in a mediation administered by the ICC between our client and a European company concerning complex engineering issues in relation to the development of a port.
• A leading African oil refining company on a USD 500 million dollar refinery modernization project, involving the negotiation of several key agreements, including complex Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts..
• An African NOC in the negotiation of the purchase of a majority stake in an oil services company, the reorganisation of the target company’s debts as well as the associated capital raise.
• A European investor in an ICC arbitration in Paris against the Republic of Kosovo. The dispute arose from investments in petrol stations and petrol storage facilities. The claims were brought, inter alia, under the 2014 Kosovo Foreign Investment Law.
